Overview:
SP Systems is looking for a Programmer/Analyst to support the Astrophysics Science Division missions and the High Energy Astrophysics Science Archive Research Center (HEASARC) at Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland.
Duties:
Plan logistics and keep others on schedule for 5 proposal reviews per year. Lead “bibcode” project matching published papers to HEASARC datasets. Install new content on mission and Division web pages as required.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree or higher in Astronomy or Astrophysics with intermediate HTML editing skills, including hand coding. Must know Unix or Linux and have excellent interpersonal and writing skills and ability to work well with others as part of a team. A detail-oriented person is absolutely necessary. Graphics development experience is desired.
