History
SPS is a Maryland-based software and hardware professional-services corporation. It was founded in 1999 by Dr. Swami Reddy who believes his customers are best served by a company providing cost effective and responsive services. SPS has grown from a single contract with a single employee to a company of almost 100 employees holding multiple contracts.
Corporate Officers
Dr. Swami Reddy, President and CEO, has more than 30 years of experience in software engineering and scientific analysis. Dr. Reddy's technical expertise spans several areas including physics, biophysics, x-ray crystallography, astrophysics, software engineering, interactive graphics, and numerical analysis. Before founding SPS, Dr. Reddy managed a group of over 100 staff members at Raytheon ITSS supporting the Goddard Space Flight Center in astrophysics research activities (cosmic rays, x-rays, and gamma rays), IR astronomy and instrumentation for astrophysical observations.
